The Lumenier TX5G2R Mini 200mW 5.8GHz 32CH FPV video transmitter is the perfect VTX for FPV racing! The 200mw transmission power is a good medium power ouput meaning more pilots can fly together without overpowering each other on close frequencies while still getting decent range. The TX5G2R has 32 channels including the new Raceband frequencies. Our friends from ImmersionRC first divided the 5.8 band into 8 channels evenly spread out 37MHz from each other, which allows more racers flying at the same time on the same band. Lumenier Raceband transmitters are fully compatible with FatShark and ImmersionRC receivers. The Tx includes a 5v output to power FPV cameras and an on-board microphone to transmit audio to your receiver.

The TX5G2R features an easy to use single button, LED interface. It also comes with a clean pre-wired harness, and only weighs 7.5g! It stays cool to the touch during operation, so you don't have to worry about it overheating in a crash.

*Note: TX antenna must be installed properly before it is switched on. Powering on without installing an antenna, or using an improper antenna may easily burn the TX, and such damage is not covered by warranty. When using this transmitter on builds with ESC's that feature regenerative braking, we strongly recommend powering the transmitter with the included 12V step down regulator to protect it from voltage spikes.

  1. Great vtx review by randy on 12/5/2016

I have had not one problem with this vtx, crashed many times. I use the included regulator with mine also. Ordered another one for my tweaker, still waiting for the lux v2 to ship with it, can not wait for them to arrive.

  2. Great Transmitter for smaller Multirotors review by William on 11/27/2016

I have been using this transmitter on my tweaker 180 since i built it over a year ago. It has been crashed countless times. This tx has taken all the abuse and continues to function flawlessly. I have had antennas break off in flight twice and the quad stayed powered on for about 5 minutes while i walked to get it. no issues to the tx.
I love how easy it is to change channel and band. one button and some leds control the whole show.

I would highly recommend this line of transmitters.

  3. No problems here(lol) review by Bob on 9/24/2016

I have the Lumenier 200 and the 600mW vtx'r and have had no problem whatsoever ever running a 4 cell battery! I did put in a 12 v regulator just for the sake of possibly getting a better picture but really didn't change much. I didn't put it in right away in fact I flew 4s batteries for about 2 months before I read about the recommendation to use a regulator with the 600mW vtx'r,so I put one in! I love the picture it gives and absolutely love the simplicity of it along with how easy it is to install.
This hobby is crazy in the sense how some people have no issues while others do! I will close with saying I'm a huge Lumenier fan for its ease for installing, durability and its looks!
Most importantly these guys at GetFpv stand by their product and have a support team like no other! That's why I will always shop here!

(Thanks for the kind words Bob! If your ESC's have strong braking, we do recommend using the included 12V step-down when flying on 4S. Our PowerSwitch series don't require this.)

  4. Junk review by JB_FPV on 5/21/2016

Great vtx on 3s or a 12v regulator. The moment I plugged it in on 4s the magic smoke appeared. I jumped over to an FX799T hoping for better luck. That vtx lasted about 4 weeks on 4s before it was toast. If you have an onboard 12v regulator then this is actually a great vtx but there is no way it is truly rated to 4s or 5s.

  5. Not so hot maybe..... review by Gearwarrior on 3/27/2016

My buddy got me one for Christmas. It actually did OK except it seemed to have spurious transmission. Bad. No big deal, because one crash finished it off (let a first time FPVer fly it). So I bought another. Not even 10 flights... Croaked. It's safe to say I'm a nice guy. So I'm gonnuh buy another. I like the features. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the trouble and how I'm going for a third.... If it goes out, I'll be calling.

"Hello Ronald, We're sorry to hear about the trouble with these transmitters. If you're running on 4S and have ESC's with braking, it is strongly recommended to power the transmitter off of a 12V regulator to protect it from voltage spikes that ESC's with braking can cause."

  6. Very Nice Trans review by 512Designs on 10/30/2015

Very clean signal, no longer see bleed over with goggles, you are either on the channel or not, very defined. Great not to have to hassle with dip switches. Working on putting this 200mW transmitter on all my mini quads. Mic on-board is also nice feature.

  7. Do not run this on 4S! review by Harold on 10/25/2015

very disappointed with this Vtx.was running perfect on 3s for two weeks after changing to 4s the magic smoke came out . i havent had any issues before with lumenier products but this is supposed to run from7-20v . but apparently not.

-Hi Harold, sorry to hear about the issue when hooking up 4s. These TX's are absolutely rated beyond 4s and many people use them that way. It is possible there was a defect, or an issue with the wiring. Our CS team would be happy to accept an RMA for a replacement if you request one.

  8. Great Product review by Felipe on 10/1/2015

Very nice VTX. Simple to use, one button changes between channels and bands, no more messing with tiny dipswitches. Did not know if had a microphone, which is a nice addition to FPV, hearing the quad is a great way to find out if everything is ok in the air. Highly recommend this VTX!!!
