Mini POWER HUB has been designed to provide the best possible performance and reliability in a small 36*36mm PCB. The HUB distributes power from a battery pack to 4 ESCs, as well as providing synchronised & regulated DC outputs for powering cameras, servos, video transmitters, LEDs, etc. Batteries may range from 3S to 6S LiPo. The HUB also features convenient solder bridge of various voltage for camera & video TX.

ESC outputs:

  • DC/DC synchronous buck regulator, Efficiency is up to 95%.
  • Voltage: 5.0 +/- 0.1VDC
  • Continuous current: 3 Amps
  • Short-circuit tolerant (10 seconds/minute)
  • LED (indicates voltage is in regulation) 

BEC 12V output: 

  • The battery should be 4S~6S LiPo
  • Standard output designed to power cameras and video transmitters,etc.
  • Voltage: 12.0 +/- 0.2VDC
  • Continuous current: 2 Amps (Max.3A 10s/minute)
  • Short-circuit tolerant (10 seconds/minute)
  • LED (indicates voltage is in regulation) 

CAM & VTX voltage bridge 

  • 3S operation. choose “VCC” for 12V camera & 12V VTX, VCC=Battery Voltage.
  • 4~6S operation, choose “12” for 12V camera & 12V VTX
  • 3~6S operation, choose “5” for 5V camera
  • Video pass through from the “CAM” pad to the “VTX” pad

    I actually resolved all my video issues by using this PDB. I like the layout of the board and the size of the pads.

    I decided to use this PCB on my QAV210 build.

    Its a heavy loaded build with two fpv cameras (Lumenier CE-720 EFFIO-V - 720TVL and a micro camera facing downwards) both working on 5 V connected to a video switcher and a micro minim osd. I also have Ezuhf diversity GPS, Buzzer, BTooth and a a micro switch to toggle the Naze32 serial Rx between BT and OSD.

    The 3Amp BEC powered by Lumenier 1300mAh 4s 60c Lipo Battery should be enough to power the above with the naze 32 and the RX.

    At full throttle and when battery voltage is bellow 14V I loose video from the Effio V camera (Vtx is working because I can see the OSD info) and when I switch to the micro camera I have image too.

    My only option is to feed from the 12 V bec to the Effio V camera and see how it works but even if it works I will still not trust it for a while. Its not the best thing to hang out of video while flying.
