The Lumenier QAV-S 2 Sub-250 frame kit is designed for Freestyle FPV, featuring a 3" QAV-S 2 frame with a mono plate for the arms and aluminum FPV camera plates. This frame kit is designed to accommodate lightweight performance electronics, such as the Lumenier AIO and XILO 1404 motors. The frame is made from high-quality Lumenier carbon fiber. Compatible with DJI O3, DJI O4 Air Unit, or Walksnail systems (sold separately), the frame kit comes with all hardware components needed to build the frame and includes a step-by-step guide by FPV expert Joshua Bardwell.

Note:

This frame fits only the DJI O4 Air Unit and is not compatible with the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro.
This frame kit requires assembly.

Note: This frame fits the O3, Vista, Walksnail, or Analog units in rear-mounting orientation. HDZero Freestyle fits in a center-mounted orientation with a rear-mounted FC or ESC.

ARM MONO PLATE

The QAV-S 2 Sub-250 Joshua Bardwell Special Edition is truly unique, featuring 3.5mm thick arms paired with an Arm Mono plate. Weighing just 55g (frame only, without accessories), this design strikes an industry-leading balance between lightweight construction and durability, perfect for even the most demanding applications. The Arm Mono plate enhances rigidity while keeping the configuration light.

ALUMINUM CAMERA PLATES

The Lumenier QAV-S 2 Sub-250 Joshua Bardwell frame kit features aluminum FPV camera side plates for enhanced protection and flexibility. It supports both HD and analog cameras, including damped mounts optimized for O3 and O4 Air Unit cameras—offering endless possibilities for your setup! These plates are also backward compatible with the QAV-S 2 Bardwell 5" frame kit.

SOFT RUBBER CAMERA ISOLATION MOUNT

The Lumenier QAV-S 2 Sub-250 Joshua Bardwell SE 3" frame kit features a soft rubber camera isolation mount, reducing vibrations for smoother, more stable footage when stabilizing with either on-camera stabilization (RockSteady) or software stabilization (Gyroflow).

3D PRINTS

*The damper inserts should be printed in TPU; you can reduce the walls and infill percentage to help with damping if necessary. Machined aluminum parts will be available soon, and these same damper inserts will work with the production parts if needed.

**This mount is a drop-in replacement for the camera cage on the Bardwell edition of the Lumenier QAV-S 2. The camera cage portion should be printed in something stiff and tough, like nylon or carbon fiber nylon. PAHT-CF is a great choice if you can print it. This mount was also tested in PETG-CF, and it works decently. These are printed parts, though, so remember that durability will suffer compared to machined aluminum parts.
