Excellent VTX, a little pricey review by DoM RaTTe FPV on 12/10/2016
I upgraded from a skyzone 5823 200mw vtx. I can't believe I could fly with the skyzone 200mw. this Immersion RC 600mw VTX is excellent!! I never flown with such crystal clear image from my fatshark hd2. It's kind of pricey but its worth it in the end.
Great but delicate review by matt on 11/8/2016
This receiver works great but does not tolerate crashes. Immersion should take a cue from TBS and put a flexible (RG312) coax attachment and mountable SMA on this to save us some money. Antennas are way cheaper to replace. 1.5" to 2" cable is not going to add to noticeable signal loss. I Have broken 3 in two days. do the math $$$. There is no real way to mount this VTX as it has no case and is bare bones. Have watched the many mounting videos and tried three different ways. All resulted in SMA connector being separated from the board. None of the crashes were direct hits on the antenna but rather flat bottom slams. For the price this thing should be bullet proof! It is not. Really disappointed as this VTX has great video during flight.
Great startup review by Timo on 12/14/2015
This video transmitter is great for begginers and experts, it's easy to setup and basically plug-and-play. The the voltage regulator is really useful for all of my setups because I can solder the leed straight to my power distribution board without worrying about the voltage. The only problem I had was that the positive and negative wires were swapped (but that only took 2 mins to fix). Shipping was real snappy and I also got 2 free immersion rc stickers.
