Ok... review by Frost on 5/18/2017
This will be just a build quality and feature review as I have no other receiver to compare it to.
The plastic feels strong, relatively easy to disassemble, the screens is bright enough, i/o is nice.
The antenna connectors are male (I expected female).
It does not include a charger so you will need to use your batteries for that.
The plastic cover is so hard to take off (or I am dumb) that I broke one of the small tabs in the process.
Mine came with a screen protector but it was stuck under the plastic front cover so I had to disassemble it to remove the protector(which was already scratched).
Inside I uncovered a few drops of solder and molten plastic on the pcb. They seem to be using just some pre-built module/screen&io controller and solder it onto a breakout board together with the receiver modules .
The battery just has 2 leads but it is a 2 cell so that means the charging system doesn't balance them. In the long run that will ruin the life-cycles of the pack.
The buttons on the front vary in click sound.
The battery could had been bigger(loads of unused space).
Millions of holes on the back begging for a drop of rain to fall in.
In the end, loads of little problems, but it works and is priced less that the competition so it's fine.
