FrSky's XSR 2.4GHz receiver features 16ch ACCST, with S-Bus and CPPM. This little guy is physically smaller and lighter weight than the X4R receiver. Making it great for mini race quads!
FrSky X-series Module & X9D & X9DP &X9E & X12S in D16 mode. （XSR does not work with D-series Module） The LBT version of XSR receiver only works with FrSky D16-LBT Mode.

Great..for one pack. review by Scott on 1/1/2017
I received this as a gift to replace my X4R (purchased from getfpv). Worked great for one pack, then it unbound itself (how I don't know) and will not bind again. When binding the green and red led comes on then after unplugging/re-plugging to complete the bind the red led blinks. Driving me nuts!!
Works awesome! review by Chet on 12/28/2016
I'm running 3 of these in 3 different frames. All work great with no issues. I always start to lose my video signal before I get low signal warnings from the XSR so this has all the range I need. I love the telemetry on my Taranis.
Tiny SBUS awesomeness! review by clay on 11/25/2016
I use this tiny receiver in everything since it is so easy to find a small place to hide it. The SBUS makes connecting to a flight controller a piece of cake. Just takes a bit of soldering.
FrSky XSR 16 CH ACCST Receiver review by Michael on 6/5/2016
I have been a huge fan of FrSky since I started getting into the hobby. When purchasing a receiver my defacto standard was the DR4 II. Enter the XSR, it's smaller, lighter, approximately has the same range as the D4RII and it can be configured to use S-Bus which has a lower latency than CPPM. Win, win in my book!!
Awesome size review by Jeremy on 5/29/2016
Perfect for a mini however it will not work with a rev5 naze. I found this the hard way and rather than be patient I tried some online hackery and now I'll be buying another. Do not remove that inverter chip, the pads come out with it. If you have a naze and don't want to update you should buy the x4r that way you have options for when you do upgrade.
If you don't listen you will need a signal inverter.
"Just the facts, ma'am." review by Moose_Roberts on 5/5/2016
This receiver is exactly what you need on a mini/micro quad, and nothing you don't. Your choice of CPPM or SBUS, SmartPort telemetry, and a tiny package. No more de-pinning an X4R-SB to save space, or waiting on a naked version on a slow boat form China. The easily replaceable antennas are slightly missed from the X and D series, but unless you need PWM outputs for some reason, this is the way to go.
Amazing little receiver review by Mark M on 4/2/2016
FrSky has always had either the D series with CPPM or the X series with SBus, This little receiver is about the size of a postage stamp (25mm x 19mm x 6mm) with 94mm antennas and has CPPM, SBUS and telemetry. I had no troubles binding it to my Taranis and so far has work flawlessly. I purchased this for my ZMR250 and is about half the weight of the D4R-II. The only thing i miss is it has no PWM channels like the D4R-II or X4R, but for the ZMR250 I'm more concerned about weight then adding features. I would absolutely recommend this receiver to anyone.
