Expensive, but capable review by Samuel on 6/30/2016
Just installed this module on my quadcopter. Binding was simple and the setup was relatively easy. I haven't been able to test the range yet but in my backyard testing there hasn't been any cause for concern whatsoever.
TURNIGY 9X USERS:
If you have a 9x like me, you must make a small modification inn order to be able to attach the module. There is a little plastic bumper that is protecting the pins in the JR module slot. You should remove the back cover from the 9X and expose the insides. Then, remove the circuit board that is on top of the module bay. You'll see the holes where the pins go. As Joel mentioned, you should use a hot knife or razor and cut the plastic that covers the pins. This will allow you to attach the module to the 9X.
Fits in the Turnigy 9X With a Little Modification review by Joel on 7/5/2015
I bought this to use with my Turnigy 9X. As discussed in a youtube video, you have to cut away some plastic from the connection prongs on the back of the 9X for this to fit. I just used a razor blade and a lighter to hotcut it away. Took 15 minutes. After that, it's just plug and play.
Loving This! review by Jimmy Husain on 11/25/2014
Finally I get to try UHF and yes I choose this as it is more or less "easy" to set up.
At first the driver installation as confusing but got it worked out. When finally I got it connected and ready to be flashed, to my suprised it comes with the latest FW, 1.50.
I am using the Semi-rigid Dipole as my ant. Happy user here!
