The DarwinFPV Tiny Ape Freestyle is the first 2.5'' drone from DarwinFPV. This drone was designed to meet the needs of pilots. It comes with the Darwin ELRS2.0 F411 15A Bluejay AIO and the VTX006 which has 25-600mW output power.

DARWIN ELRS2.0 FLIGHT CONTROLLER

This is an updated version of Darwin AIO. We integrated the ELRS receiver on the FC to make it easier to apply to mini drones. The ESC adopts Bluejay firmware, compatible with 1-3S Lipo input, 15A continuous current, and 17A peak current. FC provides 2 sets of Uarts interfaces and also provides various external device interfaces such as SBUS, Softserial, CTR, BUZZ, RGB, etc., which perfectly solves the problem of an insufficient number of F411 Uarts. The built-in receiver is an SPI protocol receiver, so you need to select SPI receiver support (SPI RX support) in the betaflight configurator. Under normal circumstances, the checkbox on the betaflight configurator receiver is empty. If the betaflight configurator used is 10.8.0 and above, the checkbox should select "EXPRESSLRS".

1103 8000KV BRUSHLESS MOTORS

The 1103 8000KV Brushless motor is only 3.7g and its power and thrust are surprising, and the flight time can achieve about 5 Minutes. We have noticed that the motor only supports 2S batteries, and if it is connected to 3S to push the throttle too much, the motor will be permanently damaged.

RUNCAM NANO 4 CAMERA

The RunCam Nano 4 uses a 1/3'' CMOS sensor, 2.1mm lens, and 800TVL resolution for better realistic color and clearer low-light night vision.

VTX006

The VTX006 has 25-600mW output power and can provide stable images and powerful transmission. You can choose the perfect output power according to your FPV requirements. ( The default setting of the output power for Tiny Ape is 400mW)
