The Cube Orange+ is an advanced flight controller autopilot module. This is the Cube only and needs to be paired with a carrier board. The Cube Orange+, developed by CubePilot, is equipped with a high-performance STM32H743 ARM Cortex-M7 processor and supports ArduPilot firmware for seamless integration into drones, UAVs, and robotic systems.

IMU & Compasses

• 3 IMUs total: 2 on IMU board, 1 on FMU (all Cubes)
• 2 onboard compasses: 1 on IMU board, 1 on FMU (Cube Black, Green, Blue)
• 1 onboard compass (Cube Orange, Yellow)

Barometers

• Three redundant IMUs (accels, gyros, and compass)
• Two redundant barometers

Power System

• Dual power input (all Cubes)
• Redundancy from servo rail removed; now uses second dedicated power plug
• Zener diode and FET for Aux input 2 over-voltage protection
• Power protection available only on "PRO" carrier board
• Mini carrier board still uses servo rail for backup power

I2C & External Devices

• Dual external I2C ports (all Cubes)
• Supports two GPS/Mag units without interference

Power Monitoring

• Power monitoring routed to I/O chip for in-flight power event logging
• Brick OK, Backup OK, and FMU 3.3V monitored via 220Ω resistor to I/O pin
