BetaflightF3 is the flight controller designed to use every possible feature of Betaflight. More than the last half year has been spent in development. Boris B has worked with us to go over features and design aspects to help give us insight into what betaflight users want/need.
This board features a 3A power draw giving users extra room for added attachments through uart ports. The six layer PCB is a more expensive design approach but was needed to give the ability to have a PDB that was capable of having wiring pads on both the top and bottom of the board. By using the six layer design we were able to increase the size of the pads and work around all the components all the while giving esc connections in the corners of the board rather than bunching all connections on either the top OR the bottom. Featuring a fully functioning OSD that can be configured in Betaflight this board will make configuring your OSD a breeze.
The team at betaflight have been hard at work developing DSHOT and this board is also compatible with the latest release. But we didn’t stop there, this board also features a micro adapter to accept TF cards for those of you that like to follow up your flights with reviewing black box logging...we think we know of at least one guy that will like that.

Simply Awesome. review by Typh00n on 7/24/2017
This flight controller just shows how far the hobby and community has come in such a short time. Everything that used to require a separate PDB, OSD module and necessary sensors, etc, is now all on one board, and clearly demonstrates that is was designed by someone who knows what they're doing (Thanks Boris B!).
It is clearly ahead of it's time, offering features that Betaflight Doesn't even support in the latest builds yet (Dshot1200 for example), and features that are absolute life-savers, like TBS Smart Audio with the Unify Pro...especially useful at a race, when people are constantly switching channels...the VTX and OSD work hand in hand, and you can simply throw a switch, and set your power output, channel, band, etc. I can't imagine doing another build without it.
I did have to do a little bit of work to get it to flash and talk with the Betaflight configurator, but it is all well documented on the Betaflight Wiki, which contains everything you need to know about this board specifically, which is very nice to have.
Buying another one right now to convert an older 180 quad into something a lot lighter, less wires, and faster, but figured I'd write the review first.
Very Happy. Favorite FC to date. review by JimmyProton on 6/18/2017
Easy to integrate, simple setup, high quality manufacturing, and great flight characteristics. I have had ZERO problems with many many flights now. The OSD is a snap to set up and makes tuning very hassle free and quick. Don't forget to update to latest firmware or you'll have problems configuring. Cheers!
10/10 review by Colten on 5/15/2017
This fc is amazing 8k loop time and its an all in one!!! This is a breeze to solder and update and the built in osd and black box really helps all around great flight controller highly recommend it 10 out of 10 !!!
Excellent Performance review by Carlos on 4/23/2017
Great flight controller. Flies awesome with minimal configuration needed. However, the board is difficult to solder on the ground pins for the VTX, RX, & LED. Would recommend a good soldering station for use with this board. Stock firmware needs to be updated to 3.1.6+ to resolve minor issues. Please review the wiki for full details (https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/Board---BETAFLIGHTF3). Overall, I would highly recommend this board excellent performance.
