1. Buyer/Purchasing Agent 

(Note: Quadcopter or RC experience required)

GetFPV is the leading online retail store for FPV (First Person View) equipment for the hobby of drone flying and racing.   We also own the Lumenier family of high end components, a design and manufacturing company in the fast growing drone racing, drone hobbyist and commercial drone industries.  

Summary

This position is primarily responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Selects and orders merchandise from many different manufactures.  

  • Recommends quantity of products using procurement ordering formula.

  • Authorizes payment of invoices.

  • Process return of merchandise, RMA’s.Contact supplier, ship product, monitor return, adjust stock.

  • Maintain purchase orders ensuring accuracy of data.

  • Closely follow all backorders until complete.

  • Monitor EOL products until completion by excluding from supply needs, assessing inventory levels, when zero, disable from store.

  • Monitors behaviors to become familiar with customers' attitudes, preferences, and purchasing problems.

  • Leverage knowledge of market trends in FPV Drone industry to determine inventory levels.

  • Assist packing department as needed to ensure all “ship today” orders are processed

Education and Experience                                                 

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combo of education and experience.

  • FPV and/or RC experience required.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Work Environment

Individual will work normal daytime business hours Monday through Friday in Sarasota, Florida corporate office with about 28 other employees. We have an open floor plan with a high degree of interactiveness.   Must be authorized to work in the United States.

2. Fulfillment Associate

(Note: Drone or RC experience preferred)

We are looking to hire part time and full time employees (up to 40 hours a week) to pick/pack/ship orders. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Paid Health Benefits, 13 Paid-Time-Off Days, Paid Holidays, Paid lunch break, Health Benefits.

GetFPV is the leading online retail store for FPV (First Person View) equipment and hobbyist Quad Drones products. We also own Lumenier, a design and manufacturing company in the fast growing hobbyist drone industry. Our Shipping Manager handles all aspects of orchestrating a team of employees to pick, pack and ship thousands of products to hundreds of customers worldwide every day. 

Key Responsibilities:
-Proper execution of picking and packing process: filtering, scanning, and packaging of lightweight parts from a small warehouse for shipping.
-Promptly organize packing materials as they are received into shipping department.
-Participate in maintaining a clean, professional, safe and friendly work environment.
-Restock items as needed from bulk inventory (interface with Inventory Manager)
-Maintain aisles and stock boxes, keeping them clear from debris and clutter.
-Welcome customers coming in for local pickups and process order.
-Notify stock manager of any stock errors.
-Raise issues and improvement suggestions to management.
-Assist kitting and receiving departments as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

-Pick, pack and ship customer orders.
-Learn and use the Magento eCommerce and ShipWorks software systems as needed.
-Maintain the proper levels of boxes, tape, paper, blades and USPS bins
-Maintain shipping templates in ShipWorks.
-Maintain all equipment in good working order, scales, PC's,printers, carts and tape guns.
-Troubleshoot, using technical system knowledge, to resolve customer order discrepancies/errors.
-Complete special projects that relate to improving the order fulfillment and shipping processes.
-Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a high degree of energy with impeccable integrity, attention to detail and a personable demeanor.
