WOZ ED LEVEL IV DRONE CERTIFICATION COURSE

Woz ED is a model for incorporating the engineering process in the K-12 classroom and accelerating the path to employment for students who choose drones as a career. Students start with an introduction to aviation in Kindergarten and transition to physics of flight and flight skills in middle school. Students may choose elective courses in the Junior and Senior year to enroll in a drone course at WOZ Ed where students learn the engineering behind a Drone, as well as earn their certification. The certification will make the students employable as they leave high school. The Certified for Flight, Level IV Kit introduces students to the next level of becoming a Certified Drone Pilot. Throughout the modules, students are exposed to a variety of tasks and knowledge-building activities that will grow their confidence and prepare them to pass the Part 107 Drone Pilot License exam. By the end of this kit, students are well versed in how to build and repair a drone, read Aeronautical Charts, and conduct flight plans for various situations.
