Details

The names says it all, this a X4R-SB S-BUS and CPPM reciever with no servo pins soldered on. This saves weight and makes the reciever more compact. You will need to do some soldering to use this reciever.

FrSky  Has developed new firmware for the X4R-SB that allows it to run CPPM outputs by placing a jumper across signal pins 2 and 3 during binding.

The X4R-SB-CPPM  receiver features 3 PWM outputs (normal servo) and 1 Sbus port that carries all 16 channels.  Plus the Smart Port and a traditional A2 port are still located on the side port of the receiver. A FrSky FBVS can be connected to the A2 port for simple voltage monitoring.

Smaller than the X6R, but still packing 16 channels and the Smart Port that supports the new hubless digital sensors!  Or, connect the new vario, and then connect the old hub to use existing analog sensors.

A common question is what can the SBus port do. First off, you can connect it to many flight controllers via a single connection, and now you have access to all 16 channels. Or, you can use something like the FrSky Sbus Decoder, this will allow you to add 4 normal servo outputs (pwm). You can also connect Sbus servos directly to the Sbus line. Just "Y" in as many SBus devices as you need.

    I was wondering at first why it wasn't changing status on the receiver and transmitter, turns out it was bound the time I turned em both on with no input on my side. I guess that could be a bad, but I like how easy it was :D. I used the smartport connector and one DuPont pin to connect to the controller. The power and ground is the same throughout. I also had my transmitter set to ppm but still transmitted at least 7 channels, changed it to xjt and got 10. I did have to change max aux channels to 12 in betaflight of course, and now all 16 work.

    I have new build and it required a sbus receiver and i got the x4r and it works. The best service ive ever had with getfpv thanks for the awesome shipping great packaging and prices.I Wouldnt hesitate for a good race drone receiver which will give you less latency and that adds up when ur doing fpv cause your fpv equipment can have little bit latency also so remember that if looking for receiver
